Portfolio update – May 2023

How to achieve financial freedom? Through systematic investing. It’s easy to say, but more difficult to maintain consistency. This journal entry is for my future self, to record the entire – long journey, successes, and mistakes I’ve made, rather than just the final result. I hope it will motivate you to build your financial independence.

Summary

With a slight post-holiday slip, I’m summing up the next month.

Mintos reduced overdue loans again, giving the best profit per € invested. ETFs are on the upswing again. Robocash stable. A good month, although it is far from the record results.

I invite you to a detailed analysis. First, here’s a breakdown of the portfolio.

Bitfinex Lending*

It continues its strategy of catching demand spikes above 4-5%. Almost a year has passed since the new strategy was established, unfortunately there are still no prospects for breaking the 0.1% price.

Following my decision a year ago, I am returning to the previous dynamic pricing strategy in next month.

Below is a chart of completed offers from the last month:

  • Value: $10 827,72
  • Profit (last month): $0,00
  • ROI (last month): 0,00%
  • ROI: 5,92%
  • Investment from: 2020.12

Mintos (Euro €)*

Another month in which I was forced to reduce the % of captured loans in my strategy.

I analyzed changes in interest rates on Mintos. Below is a list of the loans offered from over half a year ago and today.

październik 2022
maj 2023

Assuming a minimum:

  • Mintos Score 7+
  • Interest rate of 15+%

95% of the value of loans disappeared from the market or was invested by investors. This correlates good with another platform, Robocash have similar rate cuts in recent months.

During the last, April portfolio analysis, I reached a record low level of overdue loans, but May has shown that it’s not over yet. Currently, delayed payments are only 1.4k€ (11% of the portfolio value).

Position in the withdrawal process. Currently divided into the last two companies. The smaller part, belonging to IDF EURASIA, decreased to approximately 7% of the ruble portfolio.

The second part, in Kviku possession, has unfortunately been stagnant since the beginning of the war in Ukraine. Currently at the stage of court proceedings.
