Portfolio update – June 2023

How to achieve financial freedom? Through systematic investing. It’s easy to say, but more difficult to maintain consistency. This journal entry is for my future self, to record the entire – long journey, successes, and mistakes I’ve made, rather than just the final result. I hope it will motivate you to build your financial independence.

Summary

June is a month of more serious decisions:

  1. Change of strategy for Bitfinex
  2. Final write-off of YieldNotes as a loss – there is no point in keeping rotten eggs in the basket, hoping to consume them one day.

I invite you to a detailed analysis. First, here’s a breakdown of the portfolio.

Bitfinex Lending*

The last month of the strategy of catching demands above 5%, undertaken a year ago, unfortunately, June was also not a lucky month. ROI is practically zero.

The last month of the strategy, implemented a year ago to capture demands above 5%, unfortunately was also not one of those lucky ones. The ROI practically zeroed out.

Therefore, I made a decision to return to the old dynamic pricing setting. After a year, it’s better to have a bird in hand than two on the roof. I’m curious about the first profits already in July.

Below is a chart of completed offers from the last month:

  • Value: $10 827,72
  • Profit (last month): $0,00
  • ROI (last month): 0,00%
  • ROI: 2,58%
  • Investment from: 2020.12

Mintos (Euro €)*

The first month in almost a year in which outstanding loans dropped below EUR 1,000. For now, everything looks stable.

The deposit is only a conversion of completed ruble items.

  • Value: €12 402,84 (deposit: +€104,01)
  • Profit (last month): €144,25
  • ROI (last month): 14,27%
  • ROI: 14,90%
  • Amount late in repayment: €990,85 (change: -€413,63)
  • Investment from: 2020.12

Mintos (Rubel rosyjski ₽)*

Portfel w trakcie wypłaty. Aktualnie podzielony na dwie ostatnie firmy. Mniejsza część, należąca do IDF EURASIA kolejny miesiąc spłaca i konwertuje swoje zobowiązania – tym razem sporo – ponad 9k rubli.

Wallet being withdrawn. Currently divided into the last two companies. The smaller part, belonging to IDF EURASIA, repays and converts its liabilities for another month – this time a lot – over 9,000 rubles.

The second one, worse, Kviku, unfortunately still stagnant. Mintos has issued an extensive explanation about the current state of affairs, I recommend that those interested read it on their blog.

  • Value: 291 960,59 ₽ (withdrawal: -9 078,93 ₽)
  • Profit (last month): 1 430,76 ₽
  • ROI (last month): 5,78%
  • ROI: 14,12%
  • Amount late in repayment: 283 619,83 ₽ (change: -3 113,26 ₽)
  • Investment from: 2020.12

Robocash*

Another stable month in the Robocash section. A small increase in latency, but nothing to worry about.

  • Value: €7 663,53
  • Profit (last month): €84,98
  • ROI (last month): 13,49%
  • ROI: 12,22%
