Portfolio update – January 2025

How to achieve financial freedom? It’s easy to say. It’s harder to achieve. For the future me is this journal entry. Starting from the year 2021, I describe the long way, point out the successes and the wrong decisions that I have made. I hope it will also motivate you to build your financial independence.

Summary

After last month’s jump in income, caused by the Mintos campaign (an extra 400 euros in returns), there is no trace left, just look at the chart below. Nonetheless, January recorded a sizable increase over November and is one step away from breaking the 1000€ monthly profit mark.

This month I have increased my portfolio by an additional €4100. The top-up applies to Mintos and Income positions.

I invite you to a detailed analysis.

Bitfinex Lending*

In mid-January I changed my strategy to lending at a rate of 0.02% yield per day. The new strategy is slowly starting to work, but the result is far from what I expected (10+%). However, I do not intend to liquidate the position, given the safety of the investment and the need to diversify the portfolio.

Graph of all loans sold in the last month:

  • Value: $4 905,08
  • Profit (last month): $9,23
  • ROI (last month): 2,26%
  • ROI: 3,22%
  • Investment from: 2020.12

Mintos (Euro €)*

Mintos’ position continues to expand as planned for 2025. The aim is to increase the share of the portfolio secured by collateral assets . Fortunately, there are high-interest (14%) micro-capital loans secured by equipment and real estate.

When investing, I noticed one major drawback to the platform. There is no way to “re-invest” in notes you have already invested in. This is problematic for larger notes. Unfortunately, Micro Capital positions are loans over €250,000. As a result, I try to invest manually and point by point, working with much larger amounts.

In November 2024, I reached a revenue of €250, which was a great success for me. In January, I managed to increase the result to €361, and that’s excluding promotional campaigns.

Also this month I received an additional bonus in Nera investments (10 €), although it is not as big as in December (400 €). I remind you that the Nera Capital campaign to raise capital is still active, to join it you have to apply to the programme in the Campaign tab.

Mintos (Rubel rosyjski ₽)*

As a reminder, since the war in Ukraine, the position is in the process of being paid out . Currently, the last company to be paid out is Kviku.

But what is happening is that in early February Mintos announced that the deal should be finalized this month!

I am very curious about the exchange rate. Since last month, the value of the position calculated in euros has increased by 10%. However, we are talking about the official rate, which can differ from the real one. As most Russian banks are blocked in SWIFT transactions, currency exchange is not so easy.

Robocash*

Portfolio position very stable, profits at 10%. Cash outages also occurred this month. Fortunately, these are not large amounts yet.

If you don’t know how to start your adventure with Robocash. Feel free to check review and detailed description of my strategy: Robocash Review (2024): 12.65% return after 2 years

  • Value: €20 786,33
  • Profit (last month): €183,71
  • ROI (last month): 10,61%
  • ROI: 9,76%
  • Amount late in repayment: €241,84 (change: +€3,00)
  • Investment from: 2021.08

Esketit*

After the December drop in income, there was a rebound and exceeded the 10% return limit, unfortunately the cash idle time is large. So large that I am considering moving the idle cash to other platforms.

By registering using my invitation link, you will receive a 1% bonus on the amount invested within the first 30 days.

  • Value: €11 832,08
  • Profit (last month): €104,93
  • ROI (last month): 10,64%
  • ROI: 10,45%
  • Amount late in repayment: €3 321,09 (change: +€1 563,34)
  • Investment from: 2023.12

PeerBerry*

In December, I set myself a goal for 2025 on PeerBerry, to achieve a 10% return. I did not foresee one important change. In mid-January, PeerBerry announced a reduction in interest rates to 8-9%. Even if I included my loyalty bonus (+0.5%), it is far from the desired goal. Despite everything, I do not plan to leave the platform for now. The reliability of positions and lack of problems with repayments can only compete with Robocash.

Announcing the cuts, the platform boasted its statistics for 2024. Investors financed €586.11 million in loans and received €11.8 million in interest. The platform attracted 17,190 new investors. It ended the year with a portfolio value of 117.31 million euros. The offering had to be adjusted to reflect such strong demand and success.

In other news, PB has started a partnership with CashX to offer loans in Nigeria. The new loans, with a 9% rate of return, will be available on the platform from January 27. Additionally, they have capital group guarantees. It is worth updating your portfolio with the new lender.

  • Value: €15 346,61
  • Profit (last month): €117,65
  • ROI (last month): 9,03%
  • ROI: 6,74%
  • Amount late in repayment: €657,40 (change: +€360,40)
  • Investment from: 2023.12

Income*

The position is successfully maintaining the level of 12% return on investment. Unfortunately, cash outages also occur here, currently at the level of 10%.

  • Value: €7 404,04 (deposit: +€2 141,00)
  • Profit (last month): €65,11
  • ROI (last month): 12,34%
  • ROI: 13,23%
  • Amount late in repayment: €1 948,54 (change: -€257,55)
  • Investment from: 2024.07

Debitum*

A positively surprising January, the average return since the beginning of my investment (i.e. September) exceeded the 20% mark. All thanks to the cashback campaign at Debitum. For this reason, I will try to increase it in February.

  • Value: €3 197,05
  • Profit (last month): €66,40
  • ROI (last month): 24,92%
  • ROI: 20,89%
  • Amount late in repayment: €0,00
  • Investment from: 2024.09

ETF

After last month’s top-up, the portfolio position is back to a stable and pleasantly “boring” observation. Especially when you see results like these.

  • Value: $7 102,00
  • Change (last month): +$161,00**
  • Change (from begining): +$1 112,32** (18,57%)
  • Investment from: 2022.08
